Noise after switch between patches

Noise after switch between patches
« on: December 07, 2017, 05:13:06 AM »
Sometimes in live situations, I need to quickly switch patches. However, when doing while the delay of the first sound is still going on, a distorting noise comes up. I'rather have that the delay just mutes.

Anyone recognize this? Is there a solution for this? Can it be fixed in an OS update? My sound engineer is really annoyed by it.

Apparently the noise is only there when using the DDL digital delay. With the BBD the problem is not there.

Anyone?

This drives me nuts too. Sometimes in live situations it's really bad and causes the whole band to turn around and look at me. It's especially bad with in ears. I've brought it up and so have others. DSI hasn't responded that I know of.
